Solvency metrics are key metrics used to measure an enterprise’s ability to meet its long-term debt obligations. They indicate whether a company’s cash flow is sufficient to meet its long-term liabilities and thus are a measure of its financial health. These metrics are used in the Financial Health Index to figure out how the company is able to pay their long-term obligations and are used often by prospective business lenders.
